Avoid this place. This business preys on foreigners. They will charge you $200 US dollars for 15 beers and random snacks. Their workers will say it’s one price and then will stick you with a bill and threaten to call the cops if you refuse. We were taken 5 levels up to a karaoke room with lights and nice speakers. We ordered 2 sets of beers and calculated that our 1.5 hour experience would be 1.4 million dong ($60 US dollars). At 1 am, a manager gave us a bill of $200 US dollars. We protested and argued that the first worker told us a different price and no one said US dollars. We would’ve never agreed. The manager brings out a price list with $200 Us as the charge. We realized that we had been conned and the owners were attempting to upcharge us for fruit and dried squid. We talked to 3 “managers” and they itemized the costs of the beers to be 100k per beer. It was grossly over the average of Vietnamese beer (14-20k). This establishment was obviously used to this practice and have gotten away with it; overall we felt that our safety was in jeopardy. After an hour of them stonewalling our attempts to pay the initial costs of 1.4 million, we paid the bill and avoided the cops that were sitting outside the door. Please avoid this business- they obviously front for other services and have preyed on foreigners.
