  I'm not sure how to evaluate this. Is it a club? Is it a "girl bar"? Is it a tourist trap? I paid ten dollars for a beer and wore my earplugs while a mix of Tik Tok style GoGo dancers and then, uh, sexy kitten(???) style GoGo dancers rotated through. The music was good but deafening and there was a dance floor(???) but I got the sense nobody really used it. If you want real music or real dancing, go elsewhere.

  Visited here a few times as it was nearby my hotel, overall good experience compared to other nightlife places I went. Their prices are honest and transparent. No fraudulent billing. No pressure buying of drinks as well, I tested it on my first night here, ordered just one beer and staff was still welcoming and friendly to me. Pity here seems to be only crowded on Saturdays and maybe on Fridays, other days not many customers, but there still some performance on stage and friendly staff to chat with if you're the chatty type. They sometimes closes earlier (at 1 plus) if theres no customer, so go early on non peak days.

  Came here on a Friday night just before midnight and it was honestly not worth the money for me. There were maybe ten people inside, so the huge club felt almost empty and there was zero party vibe. I stayed for just one drink – a Long Island Iced Tea that cost about 334K, which felt really overpriced given how dead it was. The girl at the entrance who invited people in barely paid attention and spent most of the time on her phone, which did not feel welcoming at all. The dancers were at least nice and tried to interact. Because it was so empty, it was easy to go up on stage and dance, which was actually the only fun part of the night. Entry is free, but they clearly push you to take a table, buy a bottle and spend a lot; you do not have to, but the whole setup feels focused on getting as much money from you as possible. If the club is busy, it might be a different experience, but on my visit it was quiet, overpriced and not very friendly, so one drink was enough. Would only recommend checking it out for free first and deciding on the spot if the crowd and vibe are actually worth staying and spending

  Friendly and helpful staff. Boring crowd and some of the dancers lack dancing ability. The dancing Pikachu and Panda are ok. The servers dance better than the dancers lol. The cocktails have close to zero alcohol in them not worth nearly 300k a glass.

  We found Koto while searching for nearby clubs and had an amazing time! We stuck to beers in cans or bottles to avoid any concerns about adulteration.   Very overpriced. The toilet girls start washing and drying your hands even though I said I didn't need help. Then are very rude if you don't tip for ecery trip you make. Dancing girls are pretty but all in all id never go back. 3 million dong on a few doubles and 2 beers. Never again

  Went twice during my 10 days stay at Da Nang. The staff are lovely and attentive but during those 2 visits, the crowd was boring. Nodont wanted to dance or party.. Everyone was just staring at each other. Not my type of club LOL. The staff are my favorite part of the visit 💙

  Terrible club, drinks are extremely overpriced at 400k per drink. The girls dancing on stage look and act like 5 year old girls. A haven for pdfiles which i saw a lot of in there. Made me and my friend so uncomfortable. Never again.

  KOTO BEACH CLUB, DA NANG – $300+ DRAINED IN 2 HOURS (7.8 Million VND Tab) I’m the same guy who got hosed at Karma last night. Thought I’d try Koto Beach Club (Võ Nguyên Giáp, right on My Khe Beach) tonight—big mistake. Same foreigner-targeting playbook, worse execution. Dropped 7.8 million VND (~$310 USD) in under 2 hours. No music worth mentioning. No vibe. Just price-gouging and mediocrity. Here’s the exact scam sheet—bill still burning a hole in my pocket. No Tab, No Mercy – Same Danang Trick • Walked in ~11 PM. Beachfront lights, loud EDM, packed with tourists. • No running tab. No prices shown. No bin card.
Order blind, pay later. Classic trap. Drinks – Laughably Overpriced • Jack Daniel’s bottle (700ml): 3.2 million VND (~$128 USD)
Warm. Half the pours were mixer.
Legit beach bars charge 1.5–2M. • Single vodka-soda: 280,000 VND (~$11 USD)
Tasted like tap water + regret. Balloons – Highway Robbery • Ordered “a couple” nitrous balloons. • Girl brought 5 at once, then kept refilling without asking. • Final count: 12 balloons • Charged 2.4 million VND (~$96 USD) → 200,000 VND each
Street price? 15,000 VND.
1,300% markup. “Girl Fee” – 500,000 VND Just to Sit • One girl in a cheap bikini sat down, smiled, sipped my bottle. • No warning. No menu. No consent. • Charged 500,000 VND (~$20 USD) for her to sit and drink MY alcohol. • She wasn’t even hot—5/10 on a good day.
Pushy, phone-obsessed, zero personality.
You’re paying for a prop, not company. Hookah? Skip It • Didn’t even bother after Karma. • Saw others get the same burnt garbage for 350k a pop. The Final Tab – 7.8 Million VND (~$310 USD) Cash only. ATM inside charges 3% fee. Breakdown: • Jack bottle: 3.2M • Girl to sit: 0.5M • Balloons x12: 2.4M • Drinks/mixers: 1.2M • 10% service + VAT baked in Tried to fight the girl fee and balloon count. Bouncer in flip-flops: “Pay now or no leave.” Paid. Left at 1 AM. The Girls? Overrated & Overpaid • Looks: 4–6/10 average. Nothing special. • Attitude: Commission robots.
Smile → order → vanish → repeat. • You’re not VIP—you’re a walking ATM. To Every Foreigner in Da Nang: • NEVER sit without confirming “girl fee” upfront. • CAP balloons at 2–3 max. Count them. • PAY PER DRINK, CASH, IMMEDIATELY. • Koto = Instagram trap, real-life scam. I’ve had better nights in Pattaya beer bars for $50 total. Final Score: 0/10 Beach view? Nice. Everything else? A cash vacuum for mid girls and weak drinks. Da Nang has real parties—OQ Lounge, Sky36, street bars. Koto Beach Club is a tourist slaughterhouse. Spread this. Save your wallet. TL;DR: 7.8M VND gone. $20 to sit with a 5/10. $8 balloons. Warm Jack. AVOID KOTO LIKE THE PLAGUE.
